The closer Lola gets to Layton, the more her life gets turned upside. She ends up getting caught up in Layton’s dangerous world and ultimately the life she ran away from catches up with her again.

WOW this was a keep you on the edge of your seat kind of read. If your looking for romance, this may not be for you, but if you are looking for a fast paced, holy hell, what will happen next kid of book, this is it!! The book actually included the prequel Seduction and Temptations and I feel that you need to read it to better understand Sins and Secrets. It gives a great history to the two main characters and their families. I loved how different these books were from the usual books that I read by Jessica. They still had the gritty feel that she is known for but they had so much more edge and suspense that I couldn’t put them down. I will say that I didn’t connect with characters too deeply but I feel that it didn’t take away from the suspense of the story. I still needed to know what would happen next. Even though it was two books in one, it was still a fast read and you can knock it out in one sitting. You will not want to wait to see what will happen. I really enjoyed it and look forward to Lies and Betrayal. I NEED to know where this crazy story is going to go!!
