Cover Reveal- Waking up in Vegas by Stevie Kisner

Vegas working copy overlayjpg

I’m Tack Morgan, and I’m Las Vegas Magazine’s Sexiest Man. I’m the host of the most listened-to morning drive-time show on Vegas’s FM dial.

I’m also in therapy for sexual harassment.

My therapist is the one making me write this. The doc says it’ll help put things into perspective.

To be clear, I don’t have sexual harassment issues. I have sexual frustration issues.

And it’s totally not my fault.

That responsibility rests squarely with the person I’m being accused of harassing. I see her each and every weekday morning at the ungodly hour of 6 am.

Funny. I used to think that was the best time of the whole day. I lived for starting my mornings so early, not seeing my bed until many, many hours later.

Unless it was for recreation.

At the risk of sounding cocky, I recreated a lot.

Sex is my sport of choice. Or at least it was, until Jen waltzed through the station door and announced she was my new morning-show co-host.

I swear, she’s developed some sort of pheromone-canceling ESP that follows me around everywhere and cockblocks me at every turn. I haven’t gotten laid in… too long.

Honestly, I haven’t been keeping track.

Actually, yes, I have.

It’s been two months.

Coincidentally, that’s exactly how long Jensen McKenzie has been my co-host.

I don’t think my balls can get any bluer.

Blog Tour & Giveaway ~ Hells Knights by Bella Jewel

Hell's Knights Cover

Sex. Who really knows sex? I mean, we’ve all had sex, great sex even but when you get down to the details, how many of us actually see sex for the raw, primal act that it is?

I thought I knew sex. I’ve had sex. Heck, I’ve felt lust. Once, I’ve even felt love. I thought I knew exactly what sex was.

Until I met Cade.

He’s the meaning of sex.

He’s a biker.

He’s dangerous.

He’s powerful.

He’s dominant.

He wants me.

My world is about to change, for the better? I don’t know. But here’s my story, I hope you’re ready for it because it’s not the beautiful, heart wrenching story most people have to tell. It’s passionate, forbidden, morally incorrect and downright, fucking beautiful.

He leans closer, lifting his heavily ringed fingers to stroke my cheek so lightly, I tremble.

“You’re the kind of girl that makes a man want to stop what he’s doing, just so he can get a moment to look at that angelic face – a face that will keep him awake for the rest of his fuckin’ life. That’s the kind of girl you are, sugar.”

I swallow, feeling my body coming to life beneath his touch.

“I think you’re wrong,” I breathe as he leans even closer.

“I’m not wrong. I’ve seen a lot of people in my life, and I’ve been with a lot of girls. None of them are as real as you. I’ll fuck you, sugar. I’ll claim you because you’re the meaning of need. You’re what I’ve been lookin’ for.”

Is he serious? I tremble as he moves even closer, bringing his lips only millimeters from mine. I swallow over and over, trying to think of anything else but him. How could he possibly want me that much, after a mere week and a bit? It’s not possible; he doesn’t know me. He just wants something different, a challenge perhaps? I don’t know, but I do know he’s completely wrong about me.

“I’m not what anybody looks for. I’m not what they fight for. I’m not what they breathe for. I’m not the girl you think I am.”

He leans down, shocking me as he slides his lips over mine, gently at first, then roughly when I begin to respond. I can’t help my hand, as it lifts up to wrap around the chain on his jeans. I tug it, bringing him closer. His boots crunch in the dirt as he takes a step closer, pressing his body against mine. I open my mouth, allowing his tongue to slide in and tangle with mine. His fingers travel up my neck, over my cheek and then he thrusts them into my hair, tangling it around them. The kiss is the kind of kiss that stops your breath, the kind of kiss that stops everything. For a split second, all I can feel is him. When he pulls back, I snake my tongue out and lick the last of him off my bottom lip.

“You might not think you’re worth fighting for, or breathing for, but let me tell you, sugar – everyone deserves to be fought for, even those who think they aren’t worth it.”

Who loves hot bikers?? I DO I DO I DO!!!! This book had hot bikers and lots of excitement. I absolutely loved Addison, she went through hell, and she may be a little bitter about it, but even through it all, she is a strong girl. And who doesn’t love a girl who gets revenge in the way she gets it?! Scored major points with me on that move! She moves in with a bunch of bikers and hold her own so well with not only them but also the women that hang out there.

Cade… Seriously HOT and rough around the edges. He doesn’t show how he feels well at all and he definitely can come across as a little overbearing but he means well and clearly loves Addison so much.

Bella Jewel did an amazing job on this book!!! I give this book 4 stars and I cannot wait until Heavens Sinners comes out!!

Blog Tour & Giveaway- Love Interrupted

Logan Brooks and Andrew Eastin shared a once in a lifetime love. After losing her parents and overcoming many obstacles, she could not handle the possibility of losing him, too. She loved him enough to walk away, for both of their sakes.

As tragedy strikes again, Logan is on a downward spiral. Andrew knows she needs protection from herself, and he needs to love her through it, even if only from a distance.
When fate intervenes and allows them a second chance at love, will Logan and Andrew risk it? The Attraction is undeniable. The sexual tension, relentless. She is everything he has ever wanted. He sweeps her off her feet, renewing all that was lost.
Andrew promised her forever, but can words ever be enough? Can love prevail when life has different plans—bringing on more pain and emotions than imaginable? When lies and deceit corrupt the one thing sacred to them, plans will be ruined, promises will be broken, and hearts will be shattered.
What happens when the unknown threatens all of their dreams? Will Logan and Andrew survive their love, interrupted?

A.J’s debut album was outstanding! She had it all, such an emotional roller coaster that I would take again in a heart beat because I was so committed to it. When a book can make you sigh, giggle and talk to your kindle like a crazy person the author did their job! This was me reading Love Interrupted. Logan, oh Logan I have some major issues with this girl. She was not dealt the best cards in life when it came to her family. She has been through hell and back. But I wanted to punch her sometimes. The only thing that I was not a fan of was the crying. The crying never seemed to stop. I was at the point that I would roll my eyes because I knew the crying was going to start. The story definitely needed tears but I think the tears were over used and didn’t need to be involved in every fight or dramatic scene.

Andrew and Logan had a very intense relationship that had all the odds against them especially when it came to a very determined mother to keep them apart. Andrew didn’t handle things the way he should’ve and neither did Logan. But they both did everything thinking it was what was best for the other one. Their love for each other was deep. They were soul mates and I rooted for them the whole time.

Now I am going to throw a tantrum and say I NEED BOOK 2 NOW NOW NOW!!!!! The ending of this book was just wow. I was not seeing that cliffhanger coming. I had an idea of how it was going to end and I was somewhat right but the curve ball A.J. gave us… She is good very good because she just sucked me in even more than I already am! I give this book 4.5 stars

Blogging Buddies Book Club ~ Good Intentions (Welcome to Paradise #2) by S.L. Scott

good intentions

Title: Good Intentions (Welcome to Paradise, #2)

Author:  S. L. Scott

Expected release:  September 9, 2013

Genre:  Contemporary Romance

Age Group:  New Adult

Two words sum up my summer in paradise: Evan Ashford.

I have a life back home I must return to, though my heart battles this reality. What started as a carefree summer fling has become so much more. Evan has become so much more. He’s become everything. Cupping his face, I stare into his deep blue eyes, wanting to lose myself once more… needing to know he feels this too.

Although our connection won’t stop the summer’s end from rushing toward us or silence the demons Evan battles, I have faith our love can overcome the obstacles that will undoubtedly arise from us choosing to be together. I still worry… Will our good intentions be good enough? But I’m all in, willing to take the risk, knowing he can destroy my heart if I’m wrong.

Like a riptide, I was forever changed by one woman: Mallory Wray.

Our eyes meet and we spend a moment looking into the others’, reading the fear and the love that mingles within. I move slowly down and kiss her forehead, her nose, her eyelids, her cheeks, and her chin before I kiss her lips again—soft and gentle, not rushed, but sensual. She smiles and I die inside knowing that I won’t get to see her face every day. I’ve been spoiled by this sweet angel giving me all her days and nights. I possessively take hold of her wrists and like so many times before, the air stills as our connection intensifies. I can’t help myself when it comes to her.

I kiss her.

Rain pours down harder and I wrap my arms around her, engulfing her body, her love, her soul.

He steps in behind me and holds me so we’re both under the water. Backing up, he grabs the shampoo, squirts some in his hand, and starts washing my hair. “I also washed your hair that first night.” He kisses my shoulder. “If you’re asking me if I always ask girls that question afterward, the answer is no. I never cared enough about anyone to even think to ask. I really cared if you had a good time.” He leans down to my ear and whispers, “I secretly hoped you’d stay with me that first day, but—”

“But I was so pissed that I woke up alone.”

“Yeah, you scared me a little,” he laughs.

“You made love to me when all I was looking for was a good time.” I also laugh, rinsing the shampoo out of my hair.

His hand goes to his chest, ego wounded, and all dramatic. “Oh how your words pierce my very manhood. So, you didn’t have a good time then?”

He slides his fingers, conditioner coated, through my hair, carefully spreading it throughout.

I playfully respond, “I didn’t say I didn’t have a good time, but you made love to me. You didn’t fuck me.”

“Oh, I see. So Mallory Wray came to the island to get laid? Thank god, I was there to be of service, but my humblest apologies that I left her dissatisfied and in need of a proper fucking. I can only hope that I’ve made up for it.” I see the sparkle in his eyes as he teases.

Shimmying my soapy body against him, I say, “More than made up for it, but if you’d like to keep making up for it, you know where to find me, hot stuff.”

He steps out from rinsing his hair and I step under, closing my eyes and letting the water fall down my body. When I open them again, he’s staring at me and I recognize the look though it takes me a second to place it, a flashback to our first night together again.

His smile lessens as he looks at me, his other hand rubbing the back of his neck. His gaze drops away for the briefest of seconds, but when it returns there’s confusion, his expression mystified again.

He asks, “What am I going to do with you?”

“Just love me. That’s all.”

I fell in love with Evan and Mallory’s story in Good Vibrations and Good Intentions does not disappoint.   Picking up right where they left off, Evan and Mallory continue to grow and fight for their love.  This is the first series I have read by S.L. Scott and I love here writing style.  I felt like I was right there in Hawaii with the characters really experiencing everything they went through.  I devoured both books over the weekend and really fell in love with them.  Evan is so swoon worthy and you can’t help but love him.  Such a beautiful man with a troubled past that has really affected everything in his life.  To watch him learn to love and trust was really something.  Mallory is strong yet she not.  Suffering a broken heart really did a number on her and she really needed to learn to let her whole heart love and see what happens.  Their friends are so great and I would love to see spinoff’s for their characters.  Evan’s mom is a bitch but I keep hoping deep down there is some good in her.  But the biggest surprise of all is how hard I fell for Evan’s dad.  I absolutely LOVE him!!  I will say that I am now NEEDING more to their story, and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.  I’m really rooting for them!!!

♥ Sophie
