I have been dying to read Easy to Love You by Megan Smith ever since she left us with the major cliffhanger in Trying Not to Love You.  Boy was I not disappointed.  Picking up right where Trying Not to Love you left off, Easy to Love You starts off with the scene of the accident.  Not knowing if Kenzie and her baby are ok, Hunter must deal with things you never expect to deal with at such a young age, and man does he handle them well.  Hunter is such an amazing character and is right up there on my book boyfriend list.  Kenzie shows such strength in this book especially with everything that is thrown at her.  Megan Smith did not make things easy for these characters.  There were so many twists and turns and I had a hard time putting the book down.  Some things came so far out of left field, that I never saw them coming but boy does it make for a great read.  All of the family and friends still play a major roll in this book and we see a lot of Brittney and man what a major pyscho bitch!! I wanted to reach in and punch her in the nose. I love love loved Easy to Love You but be warned there is another cliffhanger (not as major as the first one) .  I can not wait to see where this series goes and look forward to reading more.

I ran back to my truck with an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach.  Something was really wrong.  I called Cooper because I knew he was already out with Jaylinn.

“Yo, you heard from Kenz?”

I heard the fading voice of a much too cheerful DJ as Cooper turned down the radio, “No, I thought you guys had a doctor’s appointment today.”

“Yeah we do, but she never showed.  Are you by our house?”

“Yeah, we’re right around the corner actually.  We’ll swing by and see if she’s there.  I’ll call you in a few.”

“Thanks.”

~ Review ~

Who He Is by Shanora Williams was AMAZING!  Honestly I had no idea what the book was going to be about and never read the synopsis before I started it, I figured if it was by Shanora Williams it was going to be good.  She did not disappoint and I absolutely loved it. Eliza and Gage each have troubled upbringings that affect their adult relationships, but they are drawn to each other in a way they can not explain. I really loved these characters and rooted for them every step of the way.  Eliza has a horrible past that has closed her off to relationships and she has not experienced any of the “firsts” a normal girl does.  I loved watching her grow in this story.  Gage is a rock god that made me swoon.  Like most rock stars he is used to have girl after girl but is so drawn to Eliza that he just wants more. Montana, Deed and Roy, the other band members, really made the story.  They added so many dimensions to the story and I can not wait to learn more about them in the rest of the series.  All in all this a fantastic read but it does leave with a MAJOR CLIFFHANGER!! The ending broke my heart but left me dying for more.  I am so excited Shanora decided to expand this series to include the other band mates stories.

My head swam as Gage bent down on his knees, pulled me to the edge of the bed, and kissed up my leg, his lips then touching the center of my thigh. He was so close to my entrance that I bucked against him, but he shook his head through the darkness. “Don’t move. Let me,” he growled, placing my feet on his shoulders.

I couldn’t fight it. I lost a bit of the tension and placed the back of my head against the bed, my legs hoisted up by his large shoulders. He started from the bottom of my thigh and kissed his way up. His fingers were hooked on my waist, his head moving up gradually. I was panting, anticipating, wanting to move wildly, and he wasn’t even there yet.

He groaned as his tongue slipped over one thigh before moving to the other. I moaned, squeezing his hand. He was teasing me. I could feel him laughing silently every time I shuddered. His hot tongue slid between my legs and then he pushed them apart completely, leaving me wide open.

“Get ready for me,” he murmured, his warm breath running across my core. “Eliza,” he whispered so faintly I thought I was imagining it. “I don’t want you to lie to me again after tonight.” He kissed the top of my knee, but I frowned, confused. “Don’t tell me we’re ‘just friends’ again. I’m about to show you we aren’t anymore. I don’t wanna be. I want more of you…”

And then, before I could even speak, his tongue leisurely slid across my clit and I gasped. The heat consumed me, warmed me, and he groaned deeply as he sucked and licked. “Taste so good, Sweet Ellie,” he murmured, his mouth still glued between my legs.
