Blog Tour and Giveaway ~ Arouse by Nina Lane

ArouseCoverThis book was AMAZING!!! I have been married for 10+ years and the questions and doubts that Dean and Liv deal with are so relatibable that you grow unbeleivably attached to the characters. Dean is a hot neardy professor that is used to excelling at everying so, to struggle with his marriage is a hard thing for him to deal with. Liv has had such a rough up bringing that she lacks the self confidence that it interfears with her ability to actively contribute to the marriage without seeming somewhat needy. When I think about my marriage at 2 years I remember the fights we had and the stubborness that was there and I swear some of this book was like looking at my own past! The author did an amazing job and I cannot wait to read Allure!!!

“One day I’m going to touch you in a thousand different ways and show you how to
touch me,” he said.

And he did.

past, undergraduate Olivia Winter once led a practical but isolated life. Then

Liv’s inhibitions and taught her the meaning of both love and erotic pleasure.

Book Description:
Laura Drake is an author. She writes bestselling paranormal romances that continue to top the charts. She is sharp. She is confident. She is in control.
And she doesn’t exist.
Samantha Jansen is the woman behind the wig, the woman most of the world doesn’t know exists. She is shy. She is insecure. She is nothing like her main character or her alter ego. She is scarred—deeply scarred—by a past she can’t let go of and a present she can’t make peace with.
Samantha’s dreams are consumed by one man, the broken hero from her books. Mason Strait is both her wildest fantasy and her most terrifying nightmare.
When Samantha meets Alec Brand, a corporate consultant, it is as though Mason has come to life. Alec is handsome to a fault, as elegant as he is arrogant, and more intense than any man has a right to be.
Samantha is soon sucked into a world that mirrors the fiction she writes. Just like her main character, Daire Kirby, Samantha finds herself unable to resist the forbidden lure of Alec. And just like Daire, she also finds that she is faced with taking a chance on a man who could either set her free or destroy her.
The scale tilts toward destruction when Samantha finds out that Alec is as much a work of fiction as Mason. And he has scars of his own, scars that could ruin them both.

Blog Tour Stop — Lost in You by Heidi McLaughlin

Ryan Stone is a less than average teenager. He doesn’t have fancy clothes. He doesn’t carry around the latest smartphone and he definitely doesn’t have an MP3 player. Instead, he goes to school, does his chores and dreams of a new life away from Brookfield where he’s expected to follow in his blue collar family’s footsteps.

Hadley Carter is America’s Pop Princess. A successful recording artist living her dream with a sold-out tour and a handful of Grammy’s there isn’t much that she wants for, except love. But finding love on the road is near impossible when all she longs for are romantic dinners, a nighttime stroll on the beach and holding hands with someone who isn’t going to exploit her.

When a chance encounter introduces Ryan to Hadley, will he be like her adoring fans looking for a way in, or will it be Hadley who pursues Ryan even though it might cost her the only career she’s known.

Lost in You is a story about following your dreams, taking risks and getting lost in love.

I absolutely loved Lost in You by Heidi McLaughlin!! It was a great quick read but more importantly it was different!! Most love stories now a days involve the rich alpha male seducing the young inexperienced girl. This was the opposite. Ryan is a 17 year old boy who has been very sheltered. As a high school senior he has never even kissed a girl. He’s not allowed to date, listen to music or do most things that normal high school boys do. He has grown up in a town that is divided by the wealthy and the blue collar working families. Ryan is part of the lower class, just waiting to turn 18 so he can get out of town. His only saving grace is his best friend Dylan. Dylan is opposite of Ryan, she has never wanted for anything growing up wealthy but has been there for Ryan. Little does she know by winning tickets and back stage passes to see pop princess Hadley Carter, she will be changing the course of Ryan’s life.

Hadley, America’s sweetheart, falls fast and hard for Ryan. They share and instant connection and she cant imagine life without him. The only problem is Ryan is a minor and Hadley is not.

The Girl in 6E by Alessandra Torre Review by Harper

16225648I screw men for money. Not literally, think phone sex operator with a 15 megapixel web cam thrown in. They tell me their deepest, darkest fantasies while paying me $6.99 a minute.

What would possess me to engage in such a business? Throw in a tortured past, 24/7 murderous thoughts, and a desire to keep the innocent people of my small town safe.

I was contained, out-of-the-way, sexcamming my way to utter obscurity until HE came along. A twisted client armed with a target’s name. Annie. And in that name, everything changed

5 Stars!!!

Alessandra Torre did an amazing job writing this erotica thriller. It was a roller coaster ride with tons of twists and turns and loops that I didn’t know which way I was going but I just had to keep riding because I needed to know what the outcome was going to be!

Deanna also known as Jessica in the online sex world is a very dark, broken, lonely girl. Locking herself away in her apartment to protect others. She has a dark desire that she doesn’t believe she can control so she hides behind a door not allowing herself to touch another human being. (3 years to be exact. That is a long time to only see people thru her peep-hole or on a computer screen!) Her past brought out a demon in her that wont let go of her.

Online sex is a unkown and dark world to most of us. This book gives us a glimpse into it allowing us to see what others do. At $6.99 a minute men pay Jessica to wear certain things, touch, moan and make their ego feel good. But what happens when Jessica finds one of her clients have a dark desire as well? Something even Jessica isn’t comfortable with? Will she go out in the real world tempting herself with being around other people to do the right thing? Will she be able to keep her dark desire at bay and not act on it? Wan to go on this roller coaster ride? Go One-Click this book!

Blog Tour & Giveaway Undying Love by Nelle L’Amour ~ Sophie’s Review

undying love buttonHe is Ryan Madewell, a heart stoppingly handsome Harvard grad from one of Manhattan’s wealthiest families, who’s on his way to heading up his father’s media empire.

She is Allee Adair, a beautiful but sassy art school grad from the wrong side of the tracks, who dreams of living in Paris.

Despite their many differences, Ryan and Allee are instantly smitten with each other over a Picasso nude. They share a steamy, passionate love that dares to challenge everything –including Ryan’s ruthless father, his revengeful ex-girlfriend, and Allee’s dark secrets. Only, it may end too soon.

Here is an erotic love story that will make you laugh and cry. It will stay in your heart forever. Love means never having to say goodbye.

This 50,000-word novel is intended for mature readers only.

What can I say, I really enjoyed Undying Love by Nelle L’Amour.  I went in to it with NO expectations and hadn’t even read the synopsis.  I even mentioned to Harper after reading a little bit that it was “good” but I did expect much to come of it.  I figured it was going to be your typical erotic romance, fun to read but not a lot of content.  Boy, what a lie that was.  I was totally sucked into Ryan and Allee’s story and ended up with an “ugly cry” moment at work (I know I shouldn’t read at work, but I do and it gets me every time).

Ryan and Allee are from two different worlds but share a connection they just cant resist.

Ernest Hemingway once wrote: “I felt the Earth move out and away”. When I met you the Earth did exactly that.  I felt a tremor all around me… and deep inside me”  ~Ryan

Ryan and Allee do face many challenges, some I figured out on my own and some that I did not see coming at all (hence the ugly cry factor).  But there story was beautiful and I am so happy that I got the opportunity to read it. I did receive an ARC of Undying Love and in all honesty if I hadn’t it may of slipped by me.  I am so happy it didn’t.  I would of missed out on a beautiful story.  If you are looking for a “happily ever after” this may not be for you.  The author has been pretty vocal about that (some how I missed that warning, hence the ugly cry).  Please take a chance and read the beautiful story of Ryan and Allee, oh and there will be a book two which I cant to read.

Stop it, Madewell.  With love, there are no  goodbyes”. ~ Allee

I awake and slowly blink the sleep out of my eyes. The sun is fading, casting dark shadows in the room. I turn my head to see I’m alone in the bed. Lying on my stomach, staring non-seeing into the room, I remember how exquisitely fucked I was just a few hours ago.

The feel of his hard body over me and his cock moving in and out of me, the sweat dripping off him as we both came. I feel myself get turned on all over again, and he isn’t even here touching me. Then I remember his muted words spoken right before I fell asleep.

“I want you to know I would have waited another sixteen years to be able to feel that with you again.”

I’m finding it hard to believe that Jacob could rescue me from the prison I’ve put myself in over the years, living the life of someone other than whom I feel I should be. Even if that is my true wish, wishes don’t always come true.

The hotel room door opens and Jacob walks in carrying a couple bottles of water from a vending machine, setting them on a side table. He looks yummy as he walks to the bed with a wide smile on his face. Sitting next to me on the edge of the bed, he bends down and kisses my shoulder and down my naked spine, stopping where the sheet lies just above my ass.
“Hey, sleepyhead.” He murmurs in between those drugging kisses. My legs start to stir beneath the sheet and I’m tempted to take another ride before I have to leave.

“Hi. If you keep doing that, you’re not going to be able to stop me from having my wicked way with you again and I need to leave soon.” I sigh with frustration.

“Maybe that’s exactly what I want.” Running a finger up and down my spine, he stretches out next to me.

“I’m sure it is, but I have stuff to get done before I’m back on the road in a few days. I warned you I didn’t have much time but I would do my best to make this work.”

“It feels like I just got you back, and now you have to go away again. I’d much rather see your beautiful face, instead of dreaming of it. Will you have time to sneak away again before you fly out?”

“I’m not sure. We’ll have to play it by ear. I don’t know how much I have to give you, Jacob. And I’m not just talking about my time either. I’ve been going down this lonely path for a while now and I’m not sure where it’s left me. Regardless of what we did today, I am still a married woman with commitments and responsibilities.” I hate bringing up this fact, but I need the reminder out there that this isn’t a fairytale. Its real life, and its messy.

He leans over and thoroughly kisses me before murmuring, “I know. And I’ll take whatever I can get with you. It’s better than having none of you.”

With that parting blow, he kisses me one last time, grabs his keys and heads out.

“Text me later, baby. I’ll be waiting.”

I sure hope I know what I’m doing, because it feels as though things are going to get extremely complicated.

Blog Tour –This Love of Mine By Amanda Bennett Harper and Sophie’s Review

I needed an escape. An escape from my momma, a woman who cared more about herself than her own daughter. A woman who couldn’t stand the sight of me since my father left. A boyfriend who was nothing but trouble. Trouble that I couldn’t say no to.

Unfortunately, leaving them both would prove to be either the best decision I could ever make, or the biggest mistake of my life.

My plan was to escape to the one place I always felt safe. A place where life is simple and quiet, and a place where I could finish my senior year of high school unscathed. Abernathy, Texas was my second home, and my grandparents were the parents I aways wanted. There was no one around this one horse town to complicate my life any further, or at least that’s what I thought. That was, until I met Madison Raine.

He held the power to turn my peaceful escape upside down and inside out with just one look. He was beautiful, in every sense of the word and with that beauty, came trouble. There were a million reasons why I should stay away from him, but none of them seemed to matter when I caught sight of those emerald green eyes. It was becoming clear that staying away from Madison would be harder than I had anticipated.

A past like mine never fully disappears, until you find yourself faced with the irreparable truth that sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands, consequences be damned.

Kayla James (KJ) was everything I never knew I wanted. This was the last summer I would be on the farm before I headed off to college, and meeting her was the last thing I expected. I didn’t know what had brought her here, and I honestly didn’t care. I had my own things to deal with and a relationship wasn’t one of them. Little did I know that this girl, would wind up being exactly what I needed in every way possible.

Life hasn’t always been easy, and telling my grandparents that I was going to college in another state was going to be the death of me, but it was something I needed to do. I needed a life outside of Texas, one where no one knew who I was or what I had lost. Between baseball and my band, I thought I had it made.

All it took was one look into those baby blues and I was a goner. I ended up needing her like I needed air to breathe, and everything inside of me wanted to be with her regardless of the outcome. How do you choose between love and life, and convince the one person who trusts no one, to take a chance on you?

(This is book #1 of three in The Raine Series. It contains mature language and situations)

Check out the Dream cast for This Love of Mine:

TLOM Dreamcast

Amanda Bennett did it again! I was a big fan of her book Misguided Heart and I can’t wait for the second book of that series to come out. Now I am patiently waiting for book #2 to come out for this series as well! This book made me feel so many different emotions and left me wanting more. Kayla has lived a tough life never feeling loved or taken care of. Why would she? With a mother who blames her and pushes her around to a boyfriend who gets what he wants when he wants it and doesn’t make Kayla feel loved like she should.

Kayla James or known as KJ to her friends is a 17 year old girl girl trying to get out of Phoenix. When she was a child she had a good life. The day her dad left she had hope he would come back for her. She was a daddy’s girl all the way. She soon realized that wasn’t happening because he started a new family and forgot about her. This infuriated her momma which caused her to start drinking and blaming Kayla pushing her around. Texas with her grandparents was the only time she felt safe. Like she actually had a home.

Kayla had a boyfriend who was known as a bad boy. Wren was nothing but trouble for Kayla but he was all she knew. She didn’t have it in her to tell him no.  He didn’t cherish Kayla and treat her right but she knew that Wren would not let her go without a fight. Her past with Wren would haunt her no matter where she went.

Madison Raine was an 18 year old boy who became a man at a very young age. Taking on responsiblitles way too young when his mother passed and years later his father going to prison. He was a cowboy with a dream to be a baseball player to get out of Texas and be someone. Leaving his grandparents his only family in Texas for his dream would be one of the hardest things he had to do.

“There is one person for everybody. You may meet her now or you may meet her later, but she will always stay with you, whether in body or spirit.”                                                                                        Is what Madison’s grandpa would say.

Sometimes life has a way of throwing you a curve ball and you don’t expect it. Days before he left for his dream Madison never imagined meeting someone who would capture his heart and make him feel so alive.

“How do you choose between two futures? On the one hand, I had a full ride scholarship to play ball in Arizona, but on the other hand, I had this amazing girl that I would do anythign to have as my own, possibly for forever.”

Will Kayla let Madison in? Will he leave and never look back? Will Kayla’s momma and Wren leave her alone?

Bravo Amanda on another great book! 5 Stars!!

I totally agree with Harper, this was a fantastic quick read.  I have never read anything by Amanda Bennett (even though all her books are on my Kindle) and I loved this one!  It is a short quick read that sucks you in from the very beginning.  I never thought I would love a cowboy but man did Madison make me swoon.  I absolutely loved him.  And then there is Kayla (KJ).  The strength that this girl shows is amazing.  Even though you knew that there time was limited due to the fact that Madison was leaving, you really rooted for them.  The connection that they feel is so electric, it is what makes your toes curl.  This is the first book in a three book series with quite the cliffhanger at the end (I know, I know every one loves a cliffhanger. Admit it you really do), but do your self a favor and READ it now.  It wont disappoint.

“There is one person for everybody.  You may meet her now or you may meet her later, but she will always stay with you, whether in body or spirit”
