Ooh, I couldn’t wait to get my grubby little hands on this one. I love this series and its characters and Mase and Reese are no exception. While left hanging in When I’m Gone, I couldn’t wait to dive in and find out what would happen. In true Abbi Glines fashion, the road is not easy for these two and there are a few obstacles in their way. I loved the twists that were thrown in there and was actually caught off guard. I absolutely disliked Aida, not as much as Nan, but she is a close second and Captain seriously intrigued me. I see a book in his future. I loved Reese’s strength and growth in this one and Mase is still just yummy Mase. All in all it was worth the wait!!
