OMG, Piper Payne you freaking knocked it out of the park!!! How in world can this be your first book.  I have to say it reads like a seasoned author with some serious talent!!  I went in pretty blind with this one and was pleasantly surprised.  Hooked from the first page I found myself sneaking to read this at any chance I could.  It was that good!  Full of mysteries, deceit, lust and a whole lot of WTF I was so enthralled that I didn’t even notice how far into the book I really was. Then BAM it was over and I need book two.  I found myself feeling every emotion the characters did and always wondering who to trust.  I cant wait to see where this story unfolds and I have officially added Piper as one of my must read authors.  Her writing was flawless and the characters were so well developed and emotionally charged.  This is a MUST read!!

Oh Piper… You had me hooked and this book consumed me while I was reading. The ending!!! Ugh, it will have you still trying to swipe your kindle because there is no way it can be done!!! Oh but it is and she will torture us while we have to wait for book 2! I need it now!!!! My heart broke for Larkin and June but at the same time I was proud of them because they kept on trucking even when the world kept trying to push them back down. But I know we can only take so much but I just hope they make it out with a HEA. But you wont find that out in this book we have to wait and read book 2. I have so many unanswered questions… Max!?!? Landon??!?! What is going to happen. You wont regret this read. As much as I love reading my next passion is music. How someone can connect to the lyrics how a song can say everything you are feeling in an exact moment. Larkin felt the same and once I read that in the book her and I connected! I give this book 5 stars!
