I have always heard that I needed to read a book by Maya Banks and now I can say that I have.  AND I liked it!!  My Maya Banks cherry has been popped and I will say that I did enjoy it.  OMG can she write HOT sex scenes.  I had to take a few time outs here and there because it was so steamy.  Not only was the book hot, there was a great story there.  I LOVED Dash and all his alpha self. But most of all I loved his emotional side.  I liked the balance there.  And Josslyn, I loved the fact that she was giving in to what she was missing.  She loved with her whole heart and it was refreshing.  This book touched on some taboos – falling for you dead husbands best friend, and the whole sub dominate situation – but it was done with class.  I will definitely be reading more from Maya and I look forward to book two in this series.
