Um, WOW!!! This book surprised the hell out of me. In all honesty, I never read the synopsis, loved the cover and it was recommended by someone who I trust. I did not expect to stay up late into the night in order to finish this book in one sitting. I just could not put it down. There was something about the characters that I just fell in love with. They felt like family or life long friends. I was totally and utterly vested in this story that I did not want it to end. Sophia and Corbin have secrets. Secrets that are preventing them from really living life. Secrets that could destroy them. I loved how broken yet strong each of them were. I had to know their secrets. I honestly can not put my finger on what sucked me in. T.J has a magical quality to her writing that made me tune out the world around me and live this story. Not only did I love Corbin and Sophia, but their group of family and friends are people everyone should have in their life. I don’t want to say too much because you really need to let this story unfold in front of your eyes. I will say I was shocked to learn that this was TJ’s first novel, in my eyes she was a seasoned pro. I cant wait to see what else she has in store for us.
