~ Review ~

Oh holy shit, what a wild ride this was.  This Heart of Mine was the perfect conclusion to the Raine series. Madison and Kayla really have had it rough and This Heart of Mine is the  roller coaster of a ride of a lifetime.  My emotions ran crazy through out the book and I seriously could not put it down.  It starts off right where This Trust of Mine left off with Madison’s grandfathers funeral. Kayla has just discovered some life changing news while preparing to stand by Madison during such a difficult time.  I wont tell you what because in order to read This Heart of Mine you must read This Love of Mine and This Trust of Mine first. Amanda Bennett put it all in while writing this book and there were so many twists and turns and people re-emerging from the past.  This is a difficult review to write because I don’t want to spoil anything but HOLY SHIT it does not disappoint.  Do yourself a favor and read this now!!  Thank you Amanda for letting us participate in all three blog tours, Madison and Kayla will always hold a special place in my heart.

This Heart of Mine is the last book in the Raine series and Amanda did a great job with all 3 books. I fell in love with this series from the get go. This Heart of Mine picked up at Madison’s grandfathers funeral. It was such an emotional issue filled with added drama. I wasn’t expecting the last book to have all the issues it did but it wasn’t over played and the added twist fit well with the story. She definitly kept me on my toes because I was not sure how this book was going to end! That is one thing I love about a book when you think one thing is going to happy and bam the author throws you for a loop! Bridger Book Blog was lucky enough to be on not just book 1 and 2 but all 3 tours. Thanks Amanda for allowing us to join you on your journey with the Raine series! We loved it and recommend this series to all of our reading lovers out there! I give this book 4 stars

~ Excerpt ~

My eyes fluttered open and I couldn’t make out anything around me. I was confused and in a foggy haze. I was in a small room, but it wasn’t mine. When I heard faint voices coming from outside of the claustrophobic room, I tried to scream, but nothing came out.  I lifted my heavy arm up to my throat, trailing the large plastic tubing that lead to my mouth. I felt as though I was drowning and an overwhelming fear fell over me. I was choking. There was a large foreign object obstructing my breathing and I quickly began to panic. What the hell had happened? Where the hell was I, and why was there nobody around? I started pulling the large blue tube from my mouth and instantly began gagging on whatever it was I was removing.
