Alessandra Torre did an amazing job writing this erotica thriller. It was a roller coaster ride with tons of twists and turns and loops that I didn’t know which way I was going but I just had to keep riding because I needed to know what the outcome was going to be!

Deanna also known as Jessica in the online sex world is a very dark, broken, lonely girl. Locking herself away in her apartment to protect others. She has a dark desire that she doesn’t believe she can control so she hides behind a door not allowing herself to touch another human being. (3 years to be exact. That is a long time to only see people thru her peep-hole or on a computer screen!) Her past brought out a demon in her that wont let go of her.

Online sex is an unknown and dark world to most of us. This book gives us a glimpse into it allowing us to see what others do. At $6.99 a minute men pay Jessica to wear certain things, touch, moan and make their ego feel good. But what happens when Jessica finds one of her clients have a dark desire as well? Something even Jessica isn’t comfortable with? Will she go out in the real world tempting herself with being around other people to do the right thing? I fell head over heals with West and Caroline in Deeper and didnt think Robin could top it. Boy was I wrong, Harder is even better! Caroline and West are such amazing, dynamic, strong characters that you cant help but love them and want to fix them. Robin York has quickly made it to the top of my list as one of my favorite authors. Here writing style is fantastic. I love the slow build and the fact that it is so detail oriented. She really paints the reader a picture. Harder is such a heart stomping, emotional story that just kicks you in the gut and sticks with you. This story was not easy but it is so worth it. At times I was throwing my kindle and saying some not so nice words but I loved every minute of it.

Oh, those Maddox boys make my heart swoon!! Beautiful Disaster is one of my absolute favorites and I could not wait to get my hands on Trent Maddox. I freaking LOVED Beautiful Oblivion. Jamie has a magical way of bringing a story to life. Her writing is flawless and her characters are AMAZEBALLS!! Trent, oh Trent you stole my heart. I didnt think I love anyone as much as Travis, but Trent is right up there with him. Oh and Cami, I LOVED her and her fierceness. There is a twist in the story that I did figure out early on but that did not take away from the story. One thing I absolutely loved was that this book takes place in the same time frame as Beautiful/Walking Disaster so it was fun to see that story line coincide with this one. All in all this is a fabulous addition to this series and I cant wait to read about the other yummy Maddox boys.

Who doesn’t love those Maddox boy’s? Wow…Trent’s story wasn’t really one that I expected. It was a great read. I loved hearing his story unfold. I don’t know how to tell you about the story without telling too much. You need to READ this!! It was amazing. You are going to fall in love with a new Maddox!!

Oh boy, where do I begin. I have been dying to get my hands on Lark and Azurdee’s book since we were first introduced to them in Cherished. I just knew this was going to be one smoking hot, amazing story. AND it was plus so much more. I loved learning why Lark was the way he was and Azurdee was just a wonderful, strong female lead. This book had it all. It was sexy and sweet, there was drama and suspense and times that frankly just made me giggle. I freaking fell HARD for Lark and he has totally moved up near the top of the book boyfriend charts. Kelly Elliott has a way of transporting you into this fun world that I love getting in lost in. I feel like I am right there with the characters and always at the edge of my seat during the angsty moments and there are always nail biting angsty moments.

“What did you just ask me?” she said.

I chuckled. “After your first time. Were
you sore?”

Then she screamed. Right in my ear.
“Azurdee! You and Lark? Oh. My. God. Was it good? I mean, I know it hurts at
first, but after that? How many times did y’all? Was he sweet to you? That

I laughed as I made my way downstairs. I
saw about a half dozen people out back cleaning up the rest of the reception.
Tables and chairs were being taken down and placed into a trailer.

“Azurdee!”

“Oh, sorry. I was watching them take down
the rest of the things from the reception.”

She let out a long sigh and said,
“Azurdee, spill it.”

I moved into the living room and sat down
on the sofa. “Oh Jessie, it was amazing. He was amazing. He kept calling me mi amor! It melted my heart
every time he said it. He was sweet, passionate, and so gentle. It was beyond
anything I had ever dreamed.”

She let out the silliest little yelp. “I
knew Lark Williams had it in him.

My stomach dipped a little and my smile

tell me you didn’t agree to him taking your virginity and walking away!”

“Nikki?” Jessie asked.

“Yes. Jessie, why do I feel like I’m in

She let out a breath and said, “Pesh.
Nonsense, Azurdee. He would never do that. I’m sure it was probably just very

Her voice trailed off and I knew she was regretting
what she had just said. “Jessie, I knew how Lark was and how he thought when I
got into this. I know he could walk away at any given moment.”

I silently prayed that would never
happen, but deep down inside I knew it was a strong possibility.

“He won’t walk away, sweetie. I see the
way he looks at you. I think you are the game changer he’s been waiting for.”

I bit down on my fingernail and began
chewing it. “Maybe. I don’t want to get my hopes up, ya know?”

“So
tell me…are you sore?” she asked with a giggle.

I felt like a teenager in high school.
“Let’s just say he told me he was going to make it so I would think about him
every time I moved…for a few days.”

Jessie let out a gasp and began laughing.
“Oh my.”

I dropped my head back onto the sofa and
said, “Jessie…he is amazing. I mean…the way he can be so sweet and then so
dirty. Oh God. He had me going insane with lust for him.”

“The sweet part surprises me, but not the
dirty,” she said with a laugh. I laughed in return and said, “Four times.”

“Four times! Look at the stamina Mr.
Williams has!”

We both lost it in a laughing fit.
“Jesus, Azurdee. No wonder you’re sore.”

“Bed twice, bathtub once, and then the
shower,” I said in an almost whisper.

Luke worked his fingers into my hair and tilted my head

back. He placed small kisses down along my neck to the hollow of my throat. I

closed my eyes, savoring the feel of his mouth on my skin.

“You smell like cinnamon.” He gently nipped my shoulder.

Review:

Love of a Rockstar was a great read that kept my interest the whole time. I felt an instant connection with Marlene and her situation she was in. Single mom, left by the love of her life to pursue his music career. So she settles for safety instead of the take your breath away kind of love. She has came to terms that no one will ever make her heart feel the way Luke made her feel. Then one day her life changes after 4 years. She sees Luke and all of the air leaves her lungs and her heart automatically becomes filled with everything Luke. This story gives us the ends and outs of what Marlene has to go through in order to figure out if she is willing to put her heart at risk again. To be vulnerable to risk letting the same man break her heart all over again. You guys will love Marlene’s grandma, this lady gives great advice for just being a character in a book :) She knows what she is talking about!! I give this book 4 stars

Lisa’a take on the leading man:

Anyone who knows me will tell you I’m just as obsessed about football as I am about books. I’ve always wanted to write a book around football because I think I know my stuff. Anyway, Drake had to be the quarterback, because for me, that’s the most exciting position. I mean, everyone’s heard of Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, right? I actually envisioned Drake as a young Tom Brady. Did I mention I’m a bit obsessed with him?

Like Emery, Drake has some stuff in his past. The only difference is, he hasn’t let it go. He carries it around on his shoulder because of the repercussions it had on his family … still has on his family. He’d do anything for the people he loves, but he hasn’t let himself love many. He’s stubborn and a little arrogant. He fights with himself more than anyone else so when he develops feelings for Emery, he doesn’t give in.

I absolutely love this guy – his vulnerability, his internal war. He even fought with me a few times, but I think I won. J

Lisa’s take on the leading lady:

It was funny because I found my Emery on my photographer’s page one day. Her name is Jenessa Andrea (https://www.facebook.com/jenessaCEandrea), and the second I saw her, I knew she was my Emery.

Out of all the female characters I’ve written about, Emery is the most like me. I was – okay, maybe I still am – a do-gooder. The thing about Emery is no matter what she does, she’s going to give her best effort. She doesn’t like when obstacles stand in her way, but when they do she finds a way around them.

She felt like she lost out on a lot during her childhood, which fuels her to want to be the best. It’s what she can control. She’s not immune to a hot guy who can match her jab for jab, though. She might fight it for a little while, tell herself he’s just another pig-headed athlete, but her walls aren’t that hard to tear down.

Emery doesn’t attach herself to many people, and when she does, it’s with super glue. It’s not necessarily a bad thing but when it all goes downhill, things get really bad.

First of all I need to state what a HUGE Lisa DeJong fan I am. I have followed her since her blogging days and immediately purchase whatever she writes. I loved Plastic Hearts and Glass Hearts BUT I became obsessed with When it Rains. That book made me ugly cry so bad that I physically could not read anymore at spots. My glasses were fogged and I was a snotty mess. With that being said, when the opportunity arose to review Changing Forever, I couldn’t jump fast enough. I love it when a series focuses on different main characters while still giving you glimpses into the other characters you have fallen in love with. While this is Drake and Emery’s story we still get to see Kate and Beau. Drake and Emery have a beautiful story and the book was so well written and told in my favorite dual POV. Lisa has a way of transporting you into the book and feel everything the characters are feeling. I laughed, I cried (not ugly cry, but cry still the same) and I was totally gutted and the lifted up all in the same book. The witty banter between Drake and Emery had me rolling at times but then the bull headed stubbornness had me wanting to reach in my kindle and throttle the both of them. I loved the angsty roller coaster that I was on. All in all this was a fantastic book and I cant wait until the next one. I have a feeling that I may be up for an ugly cry all over again.

Where do I begin….. Wallbanger was one of the absolute funniest books that I have ever read and I could not wait until the next installment. Simon and Caroline are one of my very favorite couples. Let me tell you that Rusty Nailed did not disappoint. I will say that it is different from Wallbanger, the humor is still there (not quite as much) but there is more of a serious story line involved and Simon and Caroline “grow up” for lack of a better word. Wallbanger was a book about how they got into the relationship, Rusty Nailed is about how they handle that relationship. It was very necessary to have a little more seriousness because life in not all Wallbanging. I will even admit that I may of shed a tear or two throughout the book but I really liked that element. I liked seeing more of Simon’s background and Caroline dealing with new rolls she has been handed. The sexiness is still there and I don’t know if I could ever get enough of Simon. All is all this was a wonderful book that I absolutely LOVED. Oh and we get a peek into Clive’s head again and I laughed so freaking hard. I just love that cat.

Wallbanger was a hoot and I loved every minute of it! So to say I was anxiously waiting for Rusty Nailed is an understatement! In this book we get to see how Simon and Caroline learn to grow up. Yes, everyone needs some Wallbanging in their lives but growing up comes with lots of responsibilities and making grown up decisions. And having to make grown up decisions can sometimes throw you off! I loved that Simon opened up about his past which was a total off subject deal in Wallbanger. This alone shows how much he has grown from book 1 to 2. Now this makes Caroline’s head spin because she thought she had her Wallbanger all figured out and he comes in this book and throws her a curve ball! I loved all the new characters that were introduced when they take part in a reunion and of course the BFFs for both Simon and Caroline didn’t disappoint when they made their appearances either! Clive the famous cat! I will admit in real life I cannot stand cats!!! They freak me out! But I want a Clive in my life :) I give this book 4 stars!

Well I loved Wallbanger and what can I say…Alice Clayton has come up with another wonderful series. It was amazing. This is a must read. This book was a little different from Wallbanger (obviously, he was not going to be banging on Caroline’s walls with other women anymore). But he would be banging Caroline…making a life with her? You’ll have to read to find out.

I loved the sexy scenes and the love that they showed for each other. This book showed what REAL life stressors can do to a relationship and how to hold strong. You also get some more insight to Simon, which I loved. In addition, the added benefit of all their crazy friends and last but defiantly not least Clive. Love, love, love….can’t wait for the next one!

This is one of those books that I don’t even know where to begin with. It has been on my TBR list forever and was excited to finally get to it. It was not at all what I expected, but lets be frank I don’t really know what I expected, but I liked it. It was very well written and had such a different element to it that you couldn’t help but be drawn in. I loved the alternating POV and felt that author pulled that together seamlessly. Oh, and let me tell you this book was smoking hot, panty melting, scorching heat leaping from the pages kind of hot. I definitely needed a few “breathers”. It does have that all so taboo subject of cheating but in all honesty people just need to get over it and read it. It’s fiction! I personally don’t condone cheating but I have no problem reading about it. It happens. I don’t really know what else to say because you need to read it for yourself and I really don’t want to spoil anything. I will day that I am DYING for the next installment.

Matt had a sprawling, high-rise apartment in downtown Denver. I probably should have guessed. The rooms were clean and modern, harshly white, with light hardwood floors and gorgeous area rugs. The fixtures were all of matching brushed metal and the décor was spare but tasteful. I recognized a framed John Singer Sargent print on the wall.

Matt loomed as I padded through the neat, quiet rooms. Each time I smiled at him, I thought I caught a glimmer of anxiety in his expression. Why would he be nervous? Was my opinion really that important to him?

He knew right then—with every breath—he loved Melissa. Who gets this stuff at eight years old? He would’ve laughed at the idea if he had the energy. Who the hell understands what love is at eight? It didn’t make sense, but he couldn’t deny it.

Watching Melissa and Ali cry over their father’s coffin twenty-six years ago was so like today. There they stood, holding each other again, Ali’s hand reached out to Johnny’s, but her arm around Melissa, their heads together, crying all over again. He remembered how hard it had been for them both. He wanted to cry, too, and he did, for Ali and for Melissa. It hurt him in his soul to see the pain and tears in her eyes.

He looked again at Julie’s shining coffin glinting in the bright sun and wanted to kick himself for thinking about Melissa on this day, the very day he had to put his wife in the ground. If Julie could hear his thoughts, she would hate him. Ironically enough, so would Melissa. Melissa would never respect him, not after what he’d done to her, especially if she knew what he was thinking about now.

How did we get here? How did so many things change since that day? Nothing had turned out the way he’d planned. Back then, and for years after, his future was sure. He never doubted where life would lead him. But how could he regret? How could he—as he stood there with his kids—regret his family? Regret his life to this point? Regret Julie? No, he didn’t, of course not, but regret Melissa? Yes, he regretted losing Melissa. He loved Erin and Cody with his whole heart. He’d loved Julie, too, but Melissa was different. He couldn’t explain it, just different than Julie. Melissa held a part of his soul. To this day, she still gripped it in her hands. That part of him had been missing the day he’d proposed to Julie, and every day since then.

Melissa will always have it, even after she marries that jerk-off from Berkeley. Even then, she’ll still own a part of him. His stomach lurched at the thought of her with him, that puny, little clone with no heart or passion. Melissa was full of piss and vinegar, how long would it take this jerk to squash that out of her.

Is this what it felt like to Melissa? Had she felt this sinking, overwhelming sickness when she’d found out about him and Julie? Had she been living with it for all these years? Had her love for him been equal to his for her? He couldn’t remember if he’d ever told her how much he loved her. Did she know? Did that make everything harder for her? Did Julie understand how much he loved her? It’s too late to fix that—she’s gone—Jules is gone. Julie is dead! Did she understand how important she was to him? Even after the hateful things he’d said, he still loved her, and now she was gone.

REVIEW:

Can you imagine what your heart must feel like when you know you found your soul mate in high school but then the world and it’s twisted way tears you apart and you don’t end up together? Melissa and Brian know that feeling first hand. 17 years later and when Melissa thinks of Brian she still gets butterflies and the same for Brian. With Melissa being back in their home town after all of these years and being near Brian makes it harder then ever and when an unexpected tragedy happens in the story will they get their second chance and their happily ever after with each other? Life isn’t that easy. They will have to go through so many loops, and turns that will make them question their right to be together. This story was gut wrenching, sitting at the edge of your seat trying to read faster so you could find out what was going to happen. But then when you got to the end you wish you wouldn’t of read so fast because you want to keep hearing their story! At one point in the story you will feel so sorry for Melissa and think this poor girl has to catch a break sometime soon!! Her time has to be coming!!! I give this book 5 stars and can’t wait to get more out of this series!
