Oh, sweet baby Jesus we finally get Kellan Kyle’s point of view.  I have been DYING, absolute DYING for Thoughtful ever since I heard there was a possibility that we could get Kellan’s POV.  I must say that he is and will always been one of my top book boyfriends of all time.  I needed his POV and it was worth the wait.  Retelling a story from a different characters POV is an art.  It can be really good or really bad.  Its a fine line of simply re-reading the same book.  S.C. Stephens has perfected this art and while you are basically re reading Thoughtless, it still felt fresh and new.  I devoured every word of it and didn’t want it to end.  The emotions felt my Kellan solidified my love for him and I still wanted to kick Kiera’s ass.  This was the perfect amount of angst and swoon worthy yumminess and it really left me wanting each book in his POV.  I absolutely LOVED every minute of it and didn’t want it to end.

Kellan Kyle, who wouldn’t want that man. I loved hearing Kellan side of Thoughtless. There were times in Thoughtless that I  thought “what is Kiera thinking?!?Denny is amazing!” But damn hearing Kellans story makes me not really like Kiera!! Lol Loved it!! My heart really went out to him!! Sexy rock god! Yes please.

1. Do you have any hobbies or activities that you enjoy outside of writing? 

I’m a group fitness junkie. I live for my step class! And I’m starting to get into lifting weights, which means I’m sore. A lot. I love that feeling though. I also love sitting on my butt and watching movies all day. Movie-marathon weekends are my favorite!

 

2. Would the 10 year-old version of yourself kick your butt or praise you for what you’ve accomplished in life? A little of both, I think. But mostly praise. I’ve accomplished more than I ever imagined I would, and no matter what happens from here on out, I’m very proud of what I’ve done. 

3. If Kellan and Kiera’s relationship had a theme song, what would it be? 

There are so many good ones, but I always find myself going back to I Can’t Not Love You by Every Avenue.

 

4. Tell us about the cover process. Is this what you had in mind? Yes! I had several ideas that I thought would work well for the book, but I really wanted something with the car. I was so excited that Forever was able to find a Chevelle and make that happen! 

5. What are five books on your night stand?

Silver Shadows by Richelle Mead. The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan. Love, in English by Karina Halle. The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black. The Bet by Rachel Van Dyken.
