This book jumps right into the dramatic event that changes Meg’s life forever. Something that tears her apart and makes her lose herself not allowing herself to move on with her life even after 7 years have past. Dec, was someone who had a bad past but turned himself around. As a therapist he was eager to help others with their past and help them get through it and realize they can move on. When he falls for a patient he handles it very well and stops seeing her as a patient but only sees her as a friend hoping it will turn to more. I think the author wrote this part of their relationship very well. There is a huge twist in this story and I wont give anything away other then it made me think twice about this book. I actually had to put the book down for about an hour to really think about what I read. But the author did an amazing job with making me feel okay with the situation and even giving us readers a very good HEA. I give this book 4 stars.
