If you had asked me if I wanted a book about Garth Black after reading Lost and Found (Book #1) I would have said “not really”.  If you asked me that same question after reading Near and Far (Book 2) I would have said “absolutely”.  Well, Finders Keepers is Garth story and I can not tell you how much I LOVED it.  Garth may just surpass Jesse as my favorite cowboy!  This book was wonderful.  Garth is such a complex character with a terrible upbringing and he was never really shown any sort of love.  He doesn’t feel he deserves any sort of love but deep down he really is a good man. He may have done some crappy things in his life but it was definitely a result of his upbringing.  A life changing event changes Garth’s whole outlook on life and love, and he realizes just maybe he is worth it.  Garth meets his match in this book.  The leading lady (who I will not name, I don’t want to spoil) is a force to be reckoned with and is now one of my very favorite leading ladies.  She is something fierce.  Sassy, strong with a heart of gold.  Plus she doesn’t put up with Garth’s bull shit. This story was so much more than I could ever imagine.  I experienced so many emotions with this book and I really didn’t expect such an emotional read.  I am not sure if there will be any more in this series but I really hope so.  This has become a must read series for me.
