~ Synopsis ~
Jessica Harper is the epitome of perfection. She’s a good daughter, makes excellent grades, and always strays on the safe side of life. The last thing she thought would ever happen was falling in love with her best friend’s brother. But sometimes fate just has a way of bringing two people together.
Wide receiver for the University of Arizona, Gabe Garcia, seems to have it all. When his feelings for Jessica come to surface, Gabe will give up everything to be with her.
But what happens when a tragedy abruptly changes the course of your life? For Jessica and Gabe, everything they thought they knew about each other will be questioned. Sometimes, there are scars in life that are cut too deep to completely heal.
Will their love prove to be unbreakable, or will it shatter and prove fate is just another lie?

~ Review ~
I could not believe that Unbreakable was Rebecca Shea’s first novel. She really knocked this one out of the park. Unbreakable was filled with so many emotions that but the end I was drained. It did start off a little slow and lovey dovey for me but once things took off there was no putting the book down. Jessica and Gabe have grown up like brother and sister but have a connection they couldn’t deny. Once they finally share their true feelings for each other everything is perfect for them. Then the unthinkable happens. I cannot even imagine how I would handle the situation but Jessica shuts down and shuts out the people who love her including Gabe. There were times I wanted to slap some sense into Jessica but given the situation I understand her actions. I felt so bad for Gabe during all of this and really rooted for their happily ever after but in all honesty I did not know how this book would end. Then Landon enters the picture. At first I didn’t know what to think about him but he did grow on me. What I thought was just another cocky alpha male character, turned into so much more. Landon helps Jess in ways no one else has been able to. And while he started off as the cocky alpha male, he realizes there is more to life and he is ready to love. In a way Jess helps him heal too. I am really excited to see that there will be another book with Landon’s story and I can wait to learn more about him. All in all this was an amazing first book for Rebecca and she is definitely on my watch list. Her writing style was beautiful and the story was so easy to fall in love with . I will say be prepared for a hard story line and have your Kleenex ready, you will need it. Thank you Rebecca for such a beautiful story, I feel privileged to have been a part of this tour and look forward to everything you do in the future.
